Go to GitHub →Shipping > "Edit shipping service". Self pick-up option does not trigger UI change. Bug?
Under my shipping service, I decided to check the option which indicates that "customer will pick up items". A tooltip pops up indicating that when it is enabled, customers will not be required to input a shipping address during checkout.
However, the default Origin checkout flow requires a customer to input an address by default, before allowing them to select a shipping option (self pick-up). There is no way to edit this checkout flow on the Swell UI as well. Is this a bug?

Local pickup is pretty popular shipping method in urban areas. Would be nice if this would be fixed.

The "pick up" option was added after the initial design of the hosted checkout and was not necessarily designed around this. The flow of the hosted checkout does not currently support this, but it will be considered when we decide to refactor the hosted checkout and its flow.
For now, the best way to resolve this would be with a custom checkout implementation.
